DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND TY STUDENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE LIVE COOKALONGS CAN COMPLETE THE COURSE through self study (by following the LIVE CLASS RECORDINGS and the on demand course) .


The next LIVE cookalong:

From 28th September 2026, Zoom Cookalongs are weekly, every Monday, 6-7.30pm

When you book the course you will be registered for all the live cookalongs AND granted on demand access to the recipe and zoom link if the scheduled live class is within the next 5 days.  You can also access the recording of the class.

RECORDINGS OF EACH LIVE ZOOM CLASS ARE POSTED IN THE ON DEMAND COURSE.

The LIVE ZOOM COOKALONGS:

TY students who enrol will gain login access to the on demand course from 1st September 2026 (they will also be invited to any scheduled promotional cookalongs in the lead up to the course commencing while other TY students enrol during September).
The weekly LIVE cookalongs will commence 1st October so TY students can build their portfolio for the Gaisce award.

The course this term is both on demand with bonus live cookalongs.

-TY Students attend a cookalong every week (between Oct-Dec 2026).

-Certificates are issued to TY students who cook 13 recipes from the course.

FOR STUDENTS WITH OTHER ACTIVITIES ON MONDAY EVENINGS IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO JOIN THE COURSE ANYTIME AND WATCH RECORDINGS IN ORDER TO COMPLETE ANY MISSED CLASSES /  MODULES DURING YOUR OWN TIME.

Hi Vanessa, I’d just like to say that [Son] is really enjoying the cook alongs. He hasn’t cooked much before and is enjoying the course and cooking great food. [My son] has had a thoroughly enjoyable cooking experience over the past 11 weeks. When he heard that next week was the last week, he was quite disappointed. He really has embraced it all. (Apart from the washing up part !!!) he really has looked forward to it every week with great enthusiasm. And has loved every thing he has made. He loves food anyway but he’s been really proud of himself and what he has produced each week. I was actually pleasantly surprised at his reaction that it was coming to an end.
